A musical event 'Elton John - A Celebration of Music (through the eyes of Daniel Humphreys)' is to be performed on Saturday August 7, 2010 in Selsey, near Chichester, West Sussex, UK. This is part of the annual Selsey Festival, and is a Lunch Around the World event, with all proceeds donated to the EJAF.

Daniel Humphreys is a talented pianist and singer, and has been an Elton fan for many years. This concert was his idea, and he will be supported through the show with a band and guest singers.

'Elton John - A Celebration of Music' will take place on Saturday, August 7, from 7.30pm-10.00pm at Manhood Community College, Selsey. Tickets are £5 and can be bought in advance online by visiting this link or on the door.

Lunch Around the World is a way that Elton's fans worldwide raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. LATW began in December 2001, when eltonjohn.com received an Email suggesting an annual charity event to support EJAF. The message was from Nancy Case, and in March 2002 she hosted the first ever Lunch Around The World event in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. Her concept was simple: get together with your friends around the time of Elton's birthday and raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The idea appealed to many of Elton's fans around the world, and since then LATW has grown and grown. So far over $232,000 has been raise by Elton's fans around the world.
