"My name is Nicholas and my mom and I had the great pleasure of seeing Elton John when he was in Yakima, Wa. Not only did we see the show, but we were approached by one of the guys that works for Elton, and he gave us front row seats! I could not believe how fortunate we were. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I will never forget it."
"Yes, it was by far the best concert I've seen of a performer of Sir Elton's stature. The sound was amazing, the song list superb, the performance incredible. He could easily have phoned in a one-and-a-half to two-hour show and everyone would have been grateful. But no, close to three hours of superlative music. I've been a fan since the 70s. His music is a soundtrack to my generation's lives. This was the first opportunity to see him live and I'm so glad it was at a smaller venue. My hat's off to the man. He commands the utmost respect as an artist and person. Thanks for a once in a lifetime experience."
"Unbelievable. My sister and I attended Elton's concert in Yakima. WOW! He never left the stage for two hours and 45 minutes. Only left for a brief period before he came back to play his last two songs. Thanks for coming to Yakima. Hope you felt welcomed."
"My sister, Lisa, and I just had the wonderful opportunity to see Elton and his band in concert in Yakima, WA last night. We are so thankful that he is willing to perform in smaller cities and venues. Thanks to Elton for the special tickets he makes available for his Rocket Club members. Without those, we would not have been able to attend. We have had the pleasure of seeing him previously, but there is something special about seeing a legend perform in your own state! Many thanks for a fabulous evening, one which we will treasure for years to come."
"While the 8500 acre fired burned just several miles away from the SunDome in Yakima, Elton took the stage and lit the crowd on fire. The small, intimate crowd of 7500 gave Elton a standing ovation after every single song, including his new You're Never Too Old. I took a friend of mine who had never seen Elton live. She had a wonderful time and was impressed with his energy and showmanship. I'm not sure at his age how he plays over 2.5 hours in the hot, humid dome - but he never ceases to amaze. On the drive home my friend said, "You know, he has a great smile". That he does, and it was infectious to the crowd. I take my hat off to Elton for another great show, and to Yakima for making him feel so welcome."
"Elton John in little ole Yakima, Wa? Sure enough, on July 18, he was here and I'm still having a hard time believing it, even though I was there. He was on stage two hours and 45 minutes and we still couldn't get enough. What a great concert and what a great guy. Thank you Elton for making my dream come true. We love you."
