"I was at the Lake Tahoe Show and saw Elton and his band. What an amazing evening. The venue was amazing, the sunset, the moonrise and Elton put on a great show for a couple of hours. I brought my girlfriend, who just loves his music. A couple of years ago, the first song I sang to my girlfriend was my version of Elton's hit Your Song. Little did I know it was her favorite song of all. She has always loved that I sang that song to her. I could not wait to hear Elton sing it in concert. My girlfriend was worried that he was not going to sing it, I told her to have faith. He finished his show with Your Song. It was a wonderful moment that I think we will both remember forever. Just a great evening under the stars with Elton and the love of my life."
"Thank you so much for performing July 25, 2010 at Lake Tahoe. You and the band were outstanding! From the very first note, we were on our feet, dancing, celebrating your wonderful music - we were in the very last row and didn't have to worry about anyone behind us. I have never attended a concert where the music and the acoustics sounded so perfect....what a unique experience...like seeing a shooting star...we were in the right place at the right time. Song after song you played was our favorite....what a wonderful way to re-live the memories of our youth. You are a modern day hero. After your nearly three-hour, non-stop, performance, we were sad to leave you, but exhausted and happy to go home. Thanks again and hope to see you soon."
"Well, I saw Elton John and Band at Lake Tahoe on July 25th. I couldn't believe he was playing there. When I heard about the concert I snapped up tickets immediately. What a venue, what a show! It was a beautiful night on Lake Tahoe, sold out show. It was the talk of the town! After forty years, Elton still delivered the hits. Elton played extended versions of many songs. Some of my favorites were Levon (nice intro), Madman Across the Water, Rocket Man, Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Candle In The Wind (solo), Bennie and the Jets, Circle of Life, which I had never heard live before, and the closing song, Your Song.
"You know, after forty years, Elton and the band sounded as good as ever. This guy tours probably more than anyone, and on the final night of the US tour, he pulled out all the stops. Also, kudos to the band. The keyboards and backup vocals were outstanding. I had the good fortune of running into Davey and Nigel in the hotel. They were both very gracious and I expressed my appreciation. Maybe one day I will have the privilege of meeting Elton. I have been going to Elton John concerts since 1974, have seen almost every US tour and I don't think I have heard them play better! Anyway, thank you so much Elton and the band for forty great years. Your music has meant so much to me. Please come back again. I will be there!"
"I just wanted to send you a brief message about the show Elton and his band put on Sunday evening July 25th at Harveys, Lake Tahoe. My sister, my life partner of 21 years and I attended the show and it really was AMAZING - one of the greatest concerts I have ever been to in my life.
